The Moorhead Kiwanis Club is part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Moorhead Kiwanians are dedicated to serving the children and families of our community. We support three youth service clubs: The Moorhead High Key Club, the Horizon Middle School Builders Club and a Circle K Club at MSUM. This year we presented 170 Kiwanis dolls to the Children's Miracle Network at Sanford Medical Center. We provide scholarships to Moorhead High seniors. Activities we are involved in include assisting at Special Olympic and Arc dances for those with physical and developmental disabilities, maintaining flower beds at the Comstock House, providing activities for children at River Arts festivals, ringing bell for the Salvation Army and working at the Dorothy Day Food Pantry. We also provide financial support to many entities that work with children and young people.
